What is APSN?
The Asian-Pacific Society for Neurochemistry (APSN) was formed at the Sydney meeting of the International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN) in 1991 to promote research and education in neurochemistry and related disciplines. Particularly by disseminating  information, organizing meetings and workshops to encourage scientific exchanges and networking among its members in the region. The society also intends to work closely with other organizations having similar objectives, especially with the International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN), the American Society for Neurochemistry (ASN) and the European Society for Neurochemistry (ESN).

How to be a member of APSN?
From July 2006, APSN will be re-structured to be a society based on individual membership. APSN is open to individual scientists who have a significant interest in neurochemistry or other neuroscience disciplines and who are based in the Asia Pacific region. However, membership is not restricted to this region. Fellow neurochemist/neuroscientist working in other geographical regions are also welcome.
Type of Membership:
Regular members: Regular members are members who have the rights to vote and to hold office in the Society.
Student members: Registered students of recognized universities can join APSN as student members at a reduced rate. Student members do not have the rights to vote and to hold office in the Society.
Corporate members: Corporations that are in businesses related to Neurochemistry or Neuroscience are welcome to join as Corporate members. Corporate members do not have the rights to vote and to hold office in the Society.
